Arrival

For environmental reasons we kindly suggest participants to use public transportation when possible.

By plane

The Conference Venue is located only 5 kilometres away from Geneva International Airport (GVA).

Public transport from Geneva International Airport to the Conference Venue:

· Bus nº 5 (directionThônex-Vallard): Bus stop “Vermont”
· Bus nº 28 (direction Jardin Botanique): Bus stop “Nations”

 

Upon arrival at the Airport, you can pick up a free ticket for Geneva Public Transport. The free ticket machine is located at the baggage collection hall and it prints the free ticket without requirements or limitations upon the pressing of the button. This ticket entitles you to use public transport in Geneva (Zone 10) for free for a period of 80 minutes.

By train

The Conference Venue is located only 10 minutes from Gare Cornavain Train Station.

Public transport from Gare Cornavain to the Conference Venue:

· Bus nº 5 (direction Airport): Bus stop “Vermont”
· Bus nº 8 (direction OMS): Bus stop “UIT”
· Tram nº 15 (direction Nations): Stop “Nations”

By car

The Conference Venue does not have a parking lot for guests.

There is a public parking lot  near the Conference Venue. Parking ticket payment is required.

Public Transportation

Geneva Public Transport network is named UNIRESO. It is an interconnected system of trams, buses (TPG), mouettes (yellow transport boats) and trains (CFF) in the city of Geneva. The whole system use the same tickets.

Taxis

Multiple taxi companies operate in Geneva. Hailing a taxi on the street might not be easy and there are only several taxi spots.
