St.Gallen, 5 September 2022 – The World Resources Forum Association and the Responsible Mining Foundation are partnering on the production of the Extractive Commodity Trading Report 2023.

Building on the first edition published in 2021, the Report will track progress on due diligence and public reporting on four key issues in extractive supply chains: Human Rights, Corporate Governance, Financial Flows and the Environment.

The Report’s evidence-based assessment will cover 25 companies, including publicly-listed and private companies and state-owned enterprises. The Report, to be published in Q1 2023, will support implementation of current international guidance on responsible sourcing and public reporting.

This collaboration with the Responsible Mining Foundation on the second edition of the report is a valuable opportunity for the World Resources Forum Association to further its work in the area of responsible sourcing and trading of extractive commodities, supporting progress among companies, financiers and regulators.
