Nguyet Tran

Since October 2013 Nguyet Tran is a Ph.D candidate at Leibniz University Hannover, Institute for Sanitary Engineering and Waste Management. Her doctoral topic focuses on advanced material flow analysis for optimizing environmental and resource management for food processing trade villages in Red River Delta, Vietnam. In the period of 2011-2013, she was working in Vietnam as research assistant for project INHAND “Integrated water concept for craft villages in Vietnam” and from 2008-2010 as project assistant for Hoan Kiem Lake project “Development of strategies and techniques for a sustainable restoration, stabilization and management of Hoan Kiem Lake, Hanoi, Vietnam” which were coordinated by Technical University Dresden, Institute for Waste Management and Circular Economy. Before that she studied master program on “Waste management and Contaminated site treatment” – a joint master course between Vietnam National University, Hanoi – University of Science and Technical University Dresden (2005 – 2007) and bachelor program on Biology at Hanoi National University of Education (2000 – 2004) in Vietnam.
