Deepali Sinha Khetriwal

Deepali Sinha Khetriwal has nearly 15 years of international work experience on e-waste management and has published several papers in peer-reviewed journals on the topic. She holds a PhD from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, where her thesis was on modeling for forecasting waste flows of end-of-life consumer durables.

Currently based in Mumbai, she heads the India office of a boutique Swiss sustainability consultancy where she works on projects with international organisations, governments, foundations and multinational organisations on developing systems and solutions for e-waste management.

She also wears a research and training hat, working also for the United Nations University, where she was instrumental in setting up the training and capacity development programs under the umbrella of the E-waste Academy in collaboration with the StEP Initiative, a UN-supported platform on e-waste.
