Johanna Gisladottir

Johanna is currently doing her PhD in Environment and Natural Resources at the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Iceland. Her research is a part of an EU-funded project called Adaptation to a New Economic Reality (AdaptEconII) which aims for developing new economic thinking based on knowledge of global resource availability from a modelling and systems thinking perspective. In her project, she explores the linkages between corruption, social trust, the rule of law, democracy and natural resource governance. Johanna holds a BA degree in Political Science from University of Iceland and a Masters degree in System Dynamics from University of Bergen, Norway.
