Blažena Hamadová

Mrs. Blažena Hamadová is a Ph.D. candidate at Faculty of Mining and Geology in VŠB – Technical University in Ostrava, Czech Republic. She graduated at the same university as a Master of geological engineering (2017). From 2016 is associated with MinPol, Agency for International Minerals Policy. Her research area is focused on mineral policy, mining legislative, securing the access to mineral deposits based on land-use planning, sustainable minerals supply, etc. She is contributing on several HORIZON 2020 projects as MINATURA 2020 – Development of the concept of Mineral Deposits of Public Importance, MICA – Mineral Intelligence Capacity, MinFuture – Global material flows and demand-supply forecasting for mineral strategies and FORAM -Towards a World Forum on Raw Materials as well as on MINLEX study related to Legal framework for mineral extraction and permitting procedures for exploration and exploitation in the EU. She participated on international conferences as a speaker e.g. European Mining Business Forum (Sofia, Bulgaria; Sept2016), EPA 2016 Annual Horizon 2020 Societal Challenge 5 Information Day (Dublin, Ireland; Oct2016) and most recently on World Initiative of Mining Lawyers Annual Conference (Toledo, Spain; June2017)
