Farnaz Eslamishoar has studied Management during her PhD at Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, Master of Comparative and International studies at Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, B.A. (International Distinction Awarded) in International Relations at Webster University in St. Louis, MO, and BSc. in Mining Engineering in Amirkabir University of Technology in Tehran.
Farnaz main area of research is the sustainability of mining sector and how social institutions and technological innovation play their role in it. During her previous experience, Farnaz has performed artisanal and large-scale mine sites case studies in Ghana and Burkina Faso, and co-authored UNEP IRP 2019 report on Natural Resources Governance and the complementary financial report of the Global Tailings Review 2020.
Farnaz is assisting the WRF’s program activities related to mining and raw material, and resource governance.
