After having successfully completed a five months internship, Fabian now works for the World Resources Forum and the Sustainable Recycling Industries project. He holds a master in geography and a master in history, both obtained at the University of Bern. Before working for the WRF, Fabian worked for the Institute of Geography as well as the Centre for Development and Environment of the University of Bern. In his master thesis he assessed the resource use intensity and the environmental performance of different food systems. Data for the study was mainly collected in Kenya, where Fabian lived and worked for more than half a year, being affiliated with the Centre for Training and Research in Arid and Semiarid Areas.
Next to his work at WRF, Fabian co-leads the programme on development policies at the think thank foraus.
