Ankit Aggarwal has a background in biotechnology engineering from India and sustainable resource management from Technical University of Munich (TUM) Germany. Along with studies, he gained experience as a student research assistant at TUM and also served as a board member for the student chapter and Eco-industrial development section of International Society for Industrial Ecology (Yale University – USA). In 2010, Ankit was awarded the TUM-DAAD International Prize for social, cultural and academic excellence. With broad knowledge and network in the field of environment, resource management, and innovation for climate change; he is currently working as a research associate at the Fraunhofer Institute for Process Engineering and Packaging IVV in Freising Germany and also associated to the Chair of Food Packaging Technology at Technical University of Munich.
