Since 2022, Shahrzad is the Program Director of the World Resources Forum.
Between 2016-2022, she was a Project Manager at the organization.
She is contributing to resource governance, recycling and e-waste management projects, portfolio development and stakeholder analysis for establishing and strengthening partnerships and governmental outreach.
Between 2010 – 2015, she was a Research Associate at the Department of Earth Sciences. During this time, she was doing experimental and analytical investigations on the world’s largest chromium ore deposits located in South Africa. Besides she has gained several years of laboratory and teaching experience in the field of Mineralogy and Petrology.
Shahrzad has an academic background in Geology, International Business Management (BA), with a PhD in Geochemistry and Petrology from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich (2014).
