
Robin S. Gilli
Robin works as a Project Manager, since Aug 2022 at the World Resources Forum, on projects related to responsible mining and sourcing of minerals, fostering sustainable local development of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) conditions.
Between 2018-2022 as a Project Manager at FRIEDLIPARTNER AG, she was involved in the management, investigation, and site supervision of environmental contamination and waste disposal projects.
Before that, between 2010–2018 as a Research Associate at ETH Zürich, Soil Chemistry Group, Department of Environmental Systems Science, she spent most of her time researching the fate of heavy metals in the environment.
Previously, Robin has also worked for federal government organizations both in Switzerland and abroad, such as United States Geological Survey (USGS), US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Swiss Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN), and the University of Applied Sciences, Northwest Switzerland (FHNW) on various soil and water contamination characterization and remediation, water resource, and environmental waste management projects.
Robin has an academic background in Geology and Biogeochemistry and Pollutant Dynamics, with a Ph.D. in Soil Chemistry and Geology from the Department of Environmental Systems Science and the Department of Earth Science, ETH Zurich.
