
Rebecca Suhner
Rebecca joined the World Resources Forum in March 2023. She is part of the World Resources Forum conference organising team and responsible for other communication, knowledge management and training activities in different projects.
Rebecca holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs & Governance from the University of St. Gallen, with a focus on sustainable development. During her studies, she completed exchange semesters in Spain and Chile and gained work experience in an NGO, a foundation and an association, with internships in Berlin, Cambodia and Switzerland.
Most recently (2021-2022), Rebecca worked for the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) in the Inclusive Economic Development team, supporting private sector collaboration and the implementation of innovative approaches in development cooperation, with a particular thematic focus on Women’s Economic Empowerment in the Global South.
Additionally, she worked part-time as a consultant in the areas of public entrepreneurship, impact-linked finance and gender equity.
Rebecca believes in the value of multi-stakeholder collaboration as a key driver for achieving the SDGs and is motivated to create a sustainable impact with the WRF.
