Inefficient waste management not only impacts the environment—it also entails high economic costs and severe risks to public health. The ISO 59014:2024 standard provides principles, requirements, and practical guidance for recycling companies, extended producer responsibility organizations, and waste collectors, including those operating under subsistence conditions.
This course provides tools and practical knowledge for applying the standard in real-world contexts in different regions, with an emphasis on traceability, responsible management, and material circularity.
This course is based on pilot experiences in countries such as India, Peru, the Netherlands, Ghana, and Switzerland in the electronics and construction sectors.
