Wishing WRF, SRI and FORAM Partners Sustainable and Resource-Productive 2018
St. Gallen, 18 December 2017 The WRF Secretariat wishes all friends, colleagues and partner organisations peaceful holidays and a wonderful sustainable resource-productive New Year.
Looking back at 2017 the team has enjoyed the sizzling success of World Resources Forum 2017, held in Geneva, last October and is pleased to present the WRF 2017 key messages and the WRF 2017 Photo Gallery.
Other 2017 highlights include the Sustainable Recycling Industries (SRI) ISO Guidance Principles launch in Geneva last April, as well as the SRI Recycling Initiatives events in Peru and Colombia.
Furthermore, there is major progress to report about the Horizon 2020 FORAM project (Towards a World Forum on Raw Materials), the UN SLE Better by Design project in Latin America, the Resource Revolution Trainer and the first Swiss Resources Forum.
The team was also thrilled to co-organise the World Circular Economy Forum for 1500 participants last June in Helsinki.
Great expectations for 2018 come from organising the following events:
- FORAM 2018 Pilot Event, June 27 in Nancy, France
- Swiss Resources Forum 2018, date and venue to be confirmed
- World Resources Forum 2019 on February 24–27, 2019 in Antwerp, Belgium
