More mobility, less traffic

Adam Millard-Ball, University of Santa Cruz in the USA, talked about the “travel peak” and predicted that travel will no longer grow with income. Policy makers should consider travel trends before developing new infrastructure.

The CEO of Copenhagenize Design Co., Mikael Colville-Andersen, spoke about “bicycle urbanism”. He suggested that bicycles are the smartest mobility choice and pointed out that people should be encouraged to use bikes by creating more attractive spaces comfortable and safe riding.

Over 16 workshops were held and different issues in relation to nature and mobility were discussed.
