Microsoft and Nokia to speak at Sustainable ICT tools workshop

Last Friday WRF workshop coordinator Veronika Rekasi and her team met with ETH logistical staff to discuss logistics.The venue overlooks the old city and the Zurich lake, with the snowcovered Alps on the horizon and the impressive ETH main building just around the corner.  ETH building

After keynotes from, among others, Heinz Gutscher, Professor Emeritus Social Psycyology, University of Zurich, and John A. “Skip” Laitner, Principal, and Senior Fellow (ACEEE), participants will be able to discuss in a small scale informal setting with Sibylle Rock (HP) about e-Education, Heinz-Gerd Peters (Deutsche Telekom) about e-Health, Fabian Etter (Swisscom) about Smart Metering, Dan Williams (Microsoft) about Cloud Computing, Ulrike Vott (Nokia) about Intelligent Transport, and Majka Baur and Prisca Müller about the weACT initiative.
