Join us at World Resources Forum 2015 in Davos

This year’s World Resources Forum will take place in Davos, Switzerland on 11-14 October 2015. The overall theme of the conference is “Boosting Resource Productivity by adopting the Circular Economy”.

Highlights of the conference include:

  • High level policy dialogue on circular economy policies, resource efficiency and resource governance, with UNIDO, UNEP, OECD, EC and national governments
  • Participation of Ellen MacArthur Foundation, World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) and a range of other business and investment sector leaders
  • Formal meeting of UNEP International Resource Panel and Steering Committee, followed by an open session with the audience
  • 4th Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production (RECP) Global Conference and 20th Anniversary Celebration of the NCPC (National Cleaner Production Centre) network, co-organised with UNIDO
  • ISO International Workshop Agreement on Sustainable Secondary Resources
  • Over 50 workshops, scientific sessions and master classes, as well as children, youth and student programs (including the Student Reporters)
  • ESM Industry Summit on Critical Metals organised by ESM Foundation.

UNEP International Resource Panel will launch its new report International Trade in Resources: A Biophysical Assessment. Moreover, responses to the latest G7 Declaration on Resource Efficiency will be discussed by a range of high-level scientists and policy makers.

WRF’s new flagship project Igniting Business Investments in Sustainable Lifestyles (IBIS) will be introduced and discussed at the conference.

This year’s WRF will also present innovative additions to its lively program, such as the WRF Cinema, including a live talk with movie director Cosima Dannoritzer, the UN Lounge, WRF Gala Dinner followed by WRF Party with the Queen of Blues, Justina Lee Brown (Nigeria).
